Hol-Life Industries, LLC is a multi-platform holistic lifestyle umbrella. Our areas of focus are plant-based living, environmental nutrition, and social wellness. Hol-Life’s aim is to increase health literacy, conscious consumption, and environmental education in urban communities.

 

Founded in 2005, this Brooklyn-based, woman-owned company has taught yoga and delivered wellness talks throughout Central and Downtown Brooklyn.

 

Melissa Danielle (Haile) is a Brooklyn, NY-based Holistic Health Counselor, Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and Marketing Coach.

 

Specializing in Social Wellness, Melissa develops experiential programming that invites participants to develop a social consciousness around health and wellness. In this way, one develops a deeper understanding of their independence and interdependence in creating and sustaining a healthy lifestyle.

 

Melissa studied at Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Universal Force Healing Center, both located in New York City. She offers workshops on plant-based nutrition and self-care wellness, as well as private group yoga instruction. Melissa also offers marketing coaching and consulting to private practice practitioners.

 

In 2007, Melissa produced Brooklyn’s 1st Annual Vegetarian Restaurant Week, Brooklyn Goes Veg! through her LOHAS umbrella, Hol-Life Industries, LLC.

 

She is also the director of the Black Vegetarian Society of New York

 

Melissa’s latest endeavor includes environmental education and activism, and is transitioning to a locavore lifestyle.

 

Melissa currently works with the Council on The Environment of New York City as a Greenmarket EBT Market Manager.
